For my installation I created agglomerations of small, slip cast balls, ovoids and shards, all of which have not been fired and will erode over time. I chose to create quite a number of these little niches on two sets of stone spires, encouraging the viewer to hunt in the area to find more hidden artworks.
As these pieces will erode over time, it is my intention to return to this site a couple of times over the remainder of my time here in Kansas to document this erosion.
I hope you enjoy the images that I have to share of the installation and the site. If you find yourself driving through western Kansas soon, take a little detour at Quimper to visit Castle Rock and view my work and the work of my fellow students.
